Freebie Licenses

Our eligible freebies are free to download under the license listed below. Free does not mean unrestricted: both personal and commercial use must follow the applicable license limits.

Font Freebies · Basic / Standard License

Free font downloads include the Basic License, our standard entry-level font license: one user, up to three devices, unlimited personal projects, up to five commercial projects and up to 3,000 end products for sale. Small-scale, non-trademarked branding, non-monetized social posts and blog use are allowed within the Basic terms below.

Webfont/E-Pub, App/Game, Extended, Server, Broadcast and Corporate licenses are paid options. Choose and purchase the appropriate license before using the font outside the Basic scope.

Illustration & Graphic Freebies · Small Business License

Free illustrations and graphic assets include the Small Business License. Personal projects and commercial use for one business are allowed, including social posts, packaging, promotional designs and up to 500 physical items for sale per asset across all production runs. One designer may access the original files. The 500-item limit is a draft term for owner review.

Larger production runs, print-on-demand merchandise and a larger internal design team require the paid Mass Business License. See the graphic license details below for client work, production and file-sharing rules.

Template Freebies · Commercial Use License

Free design templates include the Commercial Use License at no charge. You may customize them for unlimited personal and commercial finished designs for your business or clients, including social posts, invitations, menus and presentations.

Deliver or sell finished exports such as PDF, JPG or PNG; do not resell the editable template, share template-copy links or distribute its source files. A client who needs an editable copy must obtain their own license. Third-party elements, Canva Pro features, fonts or photographs may require their own licenses or subscriptions.

Paid upgrades & shared rules

Higher-tier font and graphic licenses remain paid, even when the entry-level download is free. Prices are shown on each product and depend on the selected license. Templates have one Commercial Use license; any separately licensed third-party elements remain subject to their own costs and terms.

Keep the original files for your licensed use. Do not redistribute them as stock assets, font files or template packs, and do not claim the original work as your own. Account login is required for website freebie downloads. Newsletter signup is optional.

Small Business License

For independent creators and small businesses making finished products in small batches.

• One purchaser or one business; one designer may use the original files.
• Personal projects and commercial designs for your own business, including packaging, social posts, website images, stationery and promotional materials.
• Up to 500 physical items for sale per purchased graphic asset, counted across all designs and production runs.
• For example: 200 greeting cards plus 300 stickers using the same graphic.
• You may recolor, crop and combine the artwork into an original finished design.
• Client work is allowed for one client business; hand over flattened final artwork, not the source asset. A separate client business needs its own license.
• Print-on-demand marketplaces, automated customization services and mass production require the Mass Business License.

Mass Business License

For larger production runs, growing brands and businesses using graphics at scale.

• One business or brand; up to 10 members of its internal design team may access the original files.
• All Small Business uses, with unlimited physical end products and production runs for that licensed business.
• Print-on-demand merchandise is allowed when the graphic is incorporated into your own finished design; customers must not receive or extract the source asset.
• For example: a clothing collection, nationwide packaging or a large stationery print run.
• Manufacturers may receive production-ready artwork only to produce your licensed end products; they may not reuse or sell the graphic.
• Client projects are licensed to one client business. Separate brands or client businesses require separate licenses.
• Public asset libraries, design generators and services that let users access or customize the original graphic are excluded; contact Sloulyfe for separate permission.

Commercial Use License

For using a purchased design template to create finished designs for your business or clients.

• One purchaser or business; one designer may edit the purchased template.
• Unlimited personal and commercial finished designs, including social posts, presentations, invitations, menus, printed promotional materials and business stationery.
• You may change text, colors, layout and images to suit your project.
• Client work is allowed. Deliver exported PDF, JPG or PNG files. If a client needs the editable template or a Canva editing link, they must purchase their own license.
• You may sell a customized, flattened finished design such as a personalized invitation. You may not resell the editable template, a lightly modified template, or downloadable template packs.
• Do not publish template-copy links or share editable source files outside the licensed purchaser/business.
• Canva Pro features, fonts, photographs and other third-party elements are subject to their own licenses and may require a separate subscription or purchase. Sloulyfe’s license covers its original template design only.
